Dewey Matherne, Founder
Dewey is a Professional Landman with over 20 years of experience in oil and gas land services. He is the founder of Adobe Land & Minerals, a Texas-based firm specializing in title research, leasing, due diligence, and acquisition support throughout the Permian and Delaware Basins.
Before launching Adobe, Dewey spent over a decade with Angelle & Donohue Oil & Gas Properties, where he led due diligence on more than $3 billion in transactions and managed teams of brokers across Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana.
A native of Paradis, Louisiana, Dewey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), and the Permian Basin Landmen Assocaition (PBLA).
